Building self-trust is about living in integrity with who you are and who you want to become.

First and foremost, you must be willing to do the work, and not try to do it all by yourself. You must learn how to ask for the love, attention, or support you desire… and then learn how to receive it!

MANTRA: “Allow. Allow. Allow.”

Trying to stay in control or do everything yourself is a trauma response.

You may not have had anyone to rely on growing up, or maybe you have scars from the times you asked but never got what you needed. Maybe you finally let someone in and they betrayed your trust and used your weaknesses against you.

Worthiness and rejection wounds can build a wall around your heart, with bricks of shame, defensiveness, and insecurity. As a result, you may find it easy to give, yet it feels unsafe to receive, speak up for your needs, or let people see the real you.

Rebuilding your ability to receive starts with forgiveness. When you practice forgiving yourself, you recommit to accepting yourself as you are. This helps you get better at speaking up on behalf of your needs and, most importantly, fully allowing yourself to see and receive what’s being given to you.

When you focus on building a strong relationship with yourself first, it becomes easier to trust yourself around others. Every time you practice this, you’re building inner strength.

I will never tell you that you don’t know, as I believe you are always your own greatest authority.

My mission is to guide you to the wisdom of your own truth.

So, roll out a rough draft version, see what you learn, revise it, and go again. This is the TLC every creative project needs: to show up with curiosity, in loving commitment to your truth!

Staying committed means you’re willing to continue acting on behalf of that which wants to come through you – to find the people who need to hear your message, who need to receive the healing work you provide, or who are ready to transform their lives.

When you allow your gifts to come through you, you’re not only healing and serving others, but you’re also modeling how you faced your fears and took action anyway. That inspires those around you to own their gifts, too!
