One of the whole points of being in business is to get to this place. It means what you’ve been doing is WORKING and your business is finally, truly growing. Woohooo!
Mind you, this is not to be confused with being busy, as it can be easy to create a bunch of false busy-ness, when in actuality you’ve got serious leaks in your bucket of time, energy & money.
Thing is, when we’re approaching Momentum, and in the midst of Momentum, we must make some radical shifts in how we’re showing up. In particular for ourselves!
When you are in Momentum, it's very common to find yourself back in Foundation. If some of the business basics haven't been put in place, you will constantly find yourself shifting between the two stages.

Navigating the path towards Abundant Expansion can be tricky. It requires solid leadership and strong decisions.

- You’ve been successfully marketing yourself, networking and landing business, so much so that things are heating up!
- You’ve taken on so many clients or projects that it may feel like there’s more work than you can handle.
- Your clients are so satisfied that you get a lot of new work through word of mouth/referrals.
- You’ve got solid lead generation in place, either from referrals or the marketing you’ve been doing. You’ve grown a following, a list or a community, and you know what it takes to get more business.
- As work ramps up, things can slip through the cracks (project details, bookkeeping, my personal life, basic self-care like eating/sleeping/showering). There's still some fine tuning to be done to get the business running smoothly.

WATCH OUT FOR THESE Common Pitfalls
It can be easy to get overconfident here, take your foot off the gas, get complacent, and start coasting.
This is why it's especially important to make SURE you're not overworking, and you're taking good care of yourself. If you've been peddle to the meddle from Foundation through Momentum, and you get a taste of being able to sit back and relax... your burnout could have a chance to catch up with you; coasting is nigh!
You may also be feeling afraid of more growth at this point, because if it all has you spread thin right now, growing or taking on more clients may feel really daunting. This is a critical point!
As you ramp up, it's more important than ever to create space to work ON the business and find others to work IN it. Not putting these elements in place correctly can see you moving back into the Foundation stage, stinting your business growth.
