Win a Ticket to the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs!

Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs August 5th-7th 2011 in San Francisco

The Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs is now just a few weeks away… I am so excited! If you missed it, I’ll be contributing to five different talks and soaking up as much knowledge as I can from all the other talented folks there, too!

It’s going to be so jam packed full of awesome, which is why I’m thrilled to report I have some GREAT news for those of you who have been wanting to go, but have yet to purchase your ticket: I am giving away a free 3-day pass to the conference (a $265 value)!!

Enter to win a free ticket to the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs!

YES! Free entrance to the entire conference — which don’t forget includes all the super fun parties and networking/mingling that will go down during the evenings — what a treat!

To enter, simply answer this question in the comments below:

“I want to attend CCE to learn more about __________.”

To inform your decision, you can review the full schedule here, or see the specific topics I’m contributing to, but whatever you do, just remember to come back here and leave a comment.

Through my new video series, WilloToons Connect, and my talks at CCE, my goal is to help creatives thrive in life and business. So, I want to hear what you want to learn more about. You may face challenges being a creative professional full-time, and are looking for guidance to overcome them. You may have a new great idea that you want feedback on or to share with a wider audience. Maybe you are just beginning to build a business based on your creativity and are looking for resources to get you started? Whatever your reason, I want to hear where you are at in your business, and why you would love to join us.

That said, keep in mind, the winner will be selected at random, and not based upon the most clever answer… so no pressure! Just tell it like it is & know that your comment is your entry. And of course, be sure to leave an email address, so I can contact you if you win.

That’s it! The winner will be chosen on Wednesday, July 27th. Just in time for those of you who need the 2 weeks to book your plane ticket. ;) Looking forward to seeing you there!

UPDATE: Watch this video to find out who the lucky winner is… AND I even have a hot discount code for the rest of you!! Thank you for all of your awesome entries, and hope to see you there!

I want to attend CCE to learn more about the challenges, caveats and pitfalls around starting a company as a creative, design-oriented person (and less so “just another” tech guy with an idea). And not just the standard things about starting a company, but specifically things about coming from a creative (and entrepreneurial) background and how to turn those skills and talents into a successful business.

  2. Jacob H-Rubin says:

I want to attend CCE to learn more about building my business/brand and how to be more awesome in everything!!

  3. I want to attend CCE to learn more about…let me rephrase that: I want the love of my life to attend CCE to learn how to make his dreams of owning his own business come true. I’ve watched him question who he is / where is his career going / does he even want to be doing what he’s doing in 5 years…or even tomorrow? I want him to attend CCE to become inspired, motivated, and impassioned to put his dreams first.

  4. I want to attend CCE to learn more about how to run a company that provides a creative product but that is sold through the internet, and in an area that is full of technology. I want to learn from others who have similar products and how they have created a successful business. Additionally, what are the best practices to run a business by yourself? Where should your resources be spent? What are the most efficient practices? I’m pretty sure everyone at the CCE will be able to give me advice on my product and business. As a recent college graduate, I’d say I can learn a lot from everyone speaking and attending at the CCE!

I want to attend CCE to learn more about how to get my business off the ground. I got my license a few months ago, but haven’t been able to choose which direction to go with community arts.

  6. Amy Cluck says:

I want to attend CCE to learn more about advanced social networking techniques and building a successful online shop. I quit selling for awhile so I could concentrate on my blog, and also because there is less cost involved – but I’m sure at some point I’d love to get into selling again, especially online. I’ve been trying to use social networking more, both for my business and at my day job, and I think it’s really interesting!

Hi Willo! I want to attend CCE to access my professional creativity & kick off my new profession! This August I will be relocating to California (I just so happen to be flying in on 8/3/11) from Chicago, IL, to begin my career as a Dance/Movement Therapist (www.adta.org). In being a young professional, in a new location, I would like to beginning networking, but also learn more about what path I would like to take within my field.

Attending CCE would allow me to participate in sessions like “Forming a Creative Mission,” “Getting More Done,” “The Brand of You,” “A Day in the Life: Academia,” and “The Price is Right…”, while also helping me to meet other creative professionals in various disciplines. I would love to pick the brains, so to speak, of those who have set out to make a name for themselves, achieved their dreams, and created a career out of what they love! I hope I get to meet you & the other presenters at CCE 2011! :)

I want to learn more about on demand manufacturing. I just started a line of handmade knitwear and am trying to do everything made to order. I’m running into some difficulties but I think if I refined my strategy a bit it would definitely be possible.

  9. Amber says:

I want to attend CCE to learn more about finding the time for developing new products and services instead of just trading dollars for hours because immediate cash flow is useful. I also want to learn more about finance for small business.

  10. I want to attend CCE to learn more about whether something fun and creative can actually pay the bills.

I confess I’m a new visitor here, but I will be looking around now that I’ve found you!

  11. This is awesome! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a ticket :-)

I want to attend CCE to learn more about monetizing your blog, building a successful online shop, and just be part of the ‘awesome.’

  13. Kelly says:

I want to attend CCE to learn about how to live my life fully as a designer, performer, and artist, and to stop being a cog in someone else’s machine!!

  14. Coco says:

I want to attend CCE to watch Willo kick butt, be surrounded by all sorts of inspiring, knowledgeable people, and immerse myself in a positive environment.

  15. I want to attend CCE to learn more about how to manage my time and resources so I can harness this passion I have for creating fabulous chocolates turn that into a viable and successful business. I’ve come from an architectural design background that taught me great DESIGN skills but very little entrepreneurial ones. This is a whole new ballgame and I think this conference will teach me great lessons.
